The music world remembers Andrea Parodi. Today, October 17th, marks the twentieth anniversary of the passing of the talented and unforgettable Sardinian artist, singer, musician, record producer, lead singer of Tazenda, and acclaimed soloist.

To celebrate him, the Teatro Massimo in Cagliari hosts the nineteenth edition of the Andrea Parodi Award, the prestigious contest organized under the artistic direction of Elena Ledda.

Seven finalists arrived in Sardinia after a long selection process among hundreds of applicants: Koyel Basu (India/Mexico/England), Chiaré (Campania), Hita Del Rio (Colombia/France), Momi (Friuli), Nubras Ensemble (Italy/Spain/Romania), Angelica Perri (Calabria) and Elana Sasson (California/Spain).

Today is the final evening, including the presentation of the 2026 Roll of Honor award to Paolo Fresu, who will take the stage alongside Bebo Ferra and Pierpaolo Vacca.
