The centre-left coalition in view of the next regional elections is starting to lose pieces.

Sardinia calls Sardinia, an independence movement made up of young people in their thirties who have gathered 1,200 members in the last year, has left the table.

Due to the "failure to recognize the political and methodological demands that, a month ago, we set as conditions for a possible political agreement", explain the spokespersons Danilo Lampis and Nicoletta Pucci.

«The political recognition that we wanted to verify by the end of September, at the basis of a possible political-electoral agreement, did not exist. The political table was put on stand-by due to internal disagreements within the major forces and dynamics from the Cencelli Manual. It did not open up in a shared and transparent discussion on the profile and names of a presidential candidacy which in our opinion should have represented a break with old dynamics and powers."

The independence movement also complains about the lack of responses to two specific requests made at the table: «The limit of the double mandate for the composition of the lists and the request not to nominate people with convictions, even just in the first degree, for crimes against the public administration ».
