Christian Solinas returns to Pontida, this time five months after the end of the legislature.

At the traditional League meeting, the Sardinian governor was one of the first to speak.

«I am convinced that with the League in government, with the tenacity and strength of Matteo Salvini and with alliances in the territories such as in Sardinia with the Psd'Az we can revive the fortunes of the country and bring the voice of Italy to Europe, always stronger and more authoritative", he said at the end of his speech, before wishing everyone "happy Pontida and Forza Paris".

The hope, for the President of the Region, is that the alliance with the Northern League can be decisive for his re-nomination for the Regional elections in February 2024.

Certainly, to achieve this goal, the move to Pontida is an important card, also to reiterate the investiture that Solinas had already received from the Northern League leader in June, on the occasion of his last visit to Sardinia. It was also understood today that the governor is strongly aiming for a second race: «We need continuity - he underlined at the rally, in front of many flags of the four Moors and the "Solinas Presidente" banner - a few years are not enough, it is necessary at least complete a ten-year cycle to put in place the large infrastructures this country needs, to reverse the trend in strategic sectors such as transport and healthcare. We in Sardinia have started an important series of reforms in the health service and on the system of local autonomy, to restore a certain function to the Provinces".
