Regionals, check the hypothesis of early voting
The polls in the autumn, rather than in February 2024, would favor the centre-right. Solinas towards re-nomination, Lega and Psd'Az aim for common listsPer restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
It has been talked about for weeks, even if no one dares to officially pronounce the two words together. Advance vote. The hypothesis exists, and in recent days it has been carefully examined . Above all, the centre-right would benefit from it.
Considering that the natural deadline of the legislature is February 2024, therefore in ten months, the ideal window to go early to elections would be the autumn one of September-October. After that it would make little sense.
Such a solution would favor the current majority that governs the Region because the centre-left and the Cinquestelle Movement are not yet organized for the polls and would end up being caught off guard.
The other leaked indiscretion is that Lega and Psd'Az would present themselves with common lists . The two allies were at loggerheads before the policies, then something changed. In recent months, the governor Christian Solinas has often been in Rome, where he would have managed to regain the trust of the leaders of the Carroccio and therefore to have the hypothesis of his re-nomination accepted.
The pretext for immediately giving the voters the floor again could be the worsening of the internal problems of the party of which he is secretary , the Psd'Az, from which at least four important exponents are said to be leaving. Or even the frictions with Forza Italia that came to light on the occasion of the favorable opinion in the Conference of Regions on the Calderoli decree on differentiated autonomies. Whatever happens, for the moment the outgoing president remains the favorite for the candidacy for the next regional ones.
