Camilla Soru, municipal councilor of the Democratic Party in Cagliari, certainly weighed every word before publishing the post on social media which clarifies her position in view of the next regional elections. Because when he writes of a "personalistic attempt" branded as "irresponsible" he is referring to his father Renato, who began his solo run for the candidacy for president of the Region outside the perimeter traced by the coalition of which the Pd and M5s are part, as well as other centre-left acronyms such as the Progressivists.

Soru (daughter) starts from rumors according to which «I would have worked to encourage support from the secretary Elly Schlein for the hypothesis of holding the primaries for the choice of the candidate of the center-left coalition for the presidency of the Region». It is true, admits the Dem representative, «that I hear from our secretary, that I support her, and it is true that I met her last week in Rome, without feeling the need to publicize the meeting. I simply confirmed to you what the democratic party in Sardinia, led by the regional secretary Piero Comandini, is doing, with my full agreement and support." As the Democratic Party «we first, following a document approved by the regional management, asked the coalition to take the primaries into consideration.
