The tension is still high but Paolo Truzzu moves forward. Today he will meet the political forces of the coalition who overwhelmingly indicated him as the centre-right candidate for president.

The summit is scheduled for Palazzo Tirso, in Cagliari, already the scene of last Thursday's marathon table , which ended after nine hours which did not convince the League and Psd'Az to take a step back on the outgoing governor Christian Solinas.

However, at 3.30 pm the two parties that did not express their opinion in favor of Truzzu are also invited to participate. They are unlikely to be there: for the Psd'Az "there is not yet an official shared candidate". The League is less severe, with the regional coordinator Michele Pais specifying: «No explosion of the coalition, FdI has put forward Truzzu's candidacy, but it is necessary to make a synthesis between the two names. We remain of the idea that continuity is a common sense choice."

Fratelli d'Italia Sardegna is sure that no national summary table is planned on the Sardinian issues which are considered already resolved and accepted by all. This is why Truzzu decided to promote the first meeting with the allies. At the summit there will be a general discussion of organizational issues in view of the presentation of the symbols in a week's time, on January 15th, and of the lists on the 22nd.
