Fratelli d'Italia is keeping an eye on the regional elections scheduled in about three months. «Both the national and regional tables are meeting and discussing to arrive at the best shared choice so that the united center-right can win the elections again», explained the regional coordinator Antonella Zedda in Cagliari, on the sidelines of the provincial congress which will elect the mayor of Isili Luca Pilia new coordinator.

FdI has long claimed the leadership of the coalition, while the national leaders of the party have already proposed the name of Paolo Truzzu for the candidacy for the presidency of the Region. «FdI is preparing to run as the winning party, then the polls will decide it, to date based on the result of the political elections we are inevitably the first party», added the senator. Obviously, due to the weight it has in the breakfast , «FdI has the right to make a proposal, but also a duty towards our voters».

On the timing of the choice, "these decisions need all the time necessary, I am sure that the discussions we face both at the regional and national level will be useful for the united center-right to remain united and win".

According to what has transpired in recent days, the table should come together after the Atreju party and after the green light for the national maneuver. Truzzu was also present at the provincial congress. "My party asked for my availability and I gave it, if the opportunity arises I'm available, otherwise nothing happens."
