The date of the regional elections in Sardinia could be brought forward to January 28, the first available date by law. Accelerated which would have the effect of putting the opposition and the centre-right allies in difficulty. What would happen, in fact, is that everyone would be forced to close the lists immediately so as to present them at the end of December (a month earlier).

This is an indiscretion that has been circulating insistently in recent days, but which is difficult to reconcile with what the governor himself had hinted a few days ago, namely his intention to choose 25 February or 3 March. The power to decide the date of the vote is one of the two aces up the sleeve available to the outgoing president in these last months of the legislature. The other is linked to the appointments of the extraordinary commissioners of the new Provinces. Last December 1st the council approved an ad hoc resolution, not yet clickable: this means that no one has yet been indicated. A few weeks before the vote, in negotiations between parties, Solinas could also assert the weight of such important appointments still to be made. Small parties are certainly more interested in this than large ones. Even if in the last period there has been a substantial movement of small children into the sphere of FdI.
