25 February and 3 March 2024: these are the two dates at stake for the Sardinian regional elections .

Christian Solinas confirmed this this morning, meeting the press to present the budget change approved last night in the Regional Council.

«For our Statute, we can set the date between the fourth Sunday before the last elections and the second following - he explained -. I will meet with the majority very shortly to establish the date."

The President of the Region also took the opportunity to relaunch his candidacy, a knot that the centre-right has not yet resolved: «In the last elections – his words – the centre-right built an alternative government. Today, however, we are already in government, we don't need to build alternatives: it is normal and likely that the governing coalition will return with continuity of programs and with the need to complete what has been started."

" I am leaving a better Region than the one I took over , the international bodies and the Bank of Italy certify it, the numbers certify it", claims the governor, who launches a dig at the critical voices within his majority.

«This is a minority that is more noisy than numerous, I would like to understand with what skills and what experiences those who evaluate me negatively support this opinion , and if they have also thought about promoting some survey on themselves to understand their satisfaction».
