Forty thousand more votes than the coalition that supported her could be the reasons that could lead Alessandra Todde to keep two out of 12 departments for herself.

The time for the formation of the new regional council could be tight. Or, at least, that's what the president of the Region in pectore would like: the government team should be ready by the end of March, to arrive at the first session of the new Council with all the councilors to be presented to the chamber.

At least 70% of the members of the Council could not be councilors: the two roles would be separated. It is still not clear whether the possible move of an elected member to the executive benches implies resignation: it would not be required, but the numbers of the majority in the commissions would be at risk.

The indication, which arises from the need to maximize the work of both bodies (council and council), could be made explicit in the next few days when the governor awaiting proclamation begins the first meetings with the allies. Talks that will be bilateral and not collegial: for this reason the individual political forces are called to work on internal synthesis to find the necessary skills required by Todde who has also already announced a large presence of women in his council.

The parties must therefore make a double effort: find high-profile people within themselves or in their area of reference and offer the president some names that guarantee gender representation.

The first party that will have to confront itself internally will be the Democratic Party which on Monday in Oristano officially brings together the regional management for the analysis of the vote, which saw it come first among all, even surpassing FdI. Unofficially, however, we will talk about council and council. The Dems, in fact, could nominate not only some councilors - according to rumors the boxes requested from Todde would also be numerically important - but also the Prime Minister.

The position could be held by the current regional secretary Piero Comandini (who would leave the party leadership) or by the regional president of the dem Giuseppe Meloni. However, the highest seat in the regional assembly could also go to M5s, given that the most voted overall was the outgoing Sassari councilor Desirè Manca.
