12 million have just been allocated with the Budget which will be used to complete the work of the third lot of the Abbasanta-Buddusò-Olbia road, the provincial road 10 which leads from Marghine to Gallura.

The funds will go to dissolve the historical isolation that has affected Marghine and Goceano, areas that have lost over 15,000 inhabitants in the last twenty years. This was underlined by the majority councilors Giovanni Antonio Satta (Idea Sardegna) and Giovanni Satta (Psd'Az), from Gallura and both former mayors of Buddusò , who thanked the Councilor for the Budget , also from Gallura, Giuseppe Fasolino , «because with his sensitivity understood the importance of the allocation and managed to find the resources to complete this lot ».

Specifically, we are talking about the more than six kilometers of provincial road 10 which will join before Padru with the junction of provincial road 24. «The project received a positive environmental impact assessment within two months - continued the regional councilors - and an important environmental contribution is foreseen given that some works will be carried out using the leftovers from local quarries, approximately one million cubic meters of scraps which will be used for the ballast».

It will take three years to complete the first section of the work (about 65 km ) and open it to traffic. «At that point it will be necessary to find new resources for the last 40 kilometres , those which lead from the SP24 to Nuoro-Olbia or Sassari-Olbia. About 40 million euros will be needed, if we look at the regional price list. From today we will work towards this goal», conclude the former mayors.
