Just a few meters from the finish line, the process for the €750 million three-year adjustment has stalled . With the hearings and general discussion now over, the chairman of the Budget Committee has not set a deadline for submitting amendments because the majority still lacks a common approach to consider a bill that allocates resources that can be spent immediately, like never before in this legislature. Three hundred and fifty million euros still remain to be planned , and all groups would like to have a say in this matter.

The Five Star Movement (M5S) is said to be particularly responsible for the slowdown: the governor's party has no intention of lagging behind the Democratic Party when it comes to deciding how and to whom these funds are allocated. This is the main issue. Then there are the discontents of the smaller parties.
