The coalition that aims to win against the center-right in the 2024 regional elections was officially born today. The representatives of twenty political forces, from those represented in the regional council (Pd, Progressives, Alliance Rossoverde and M5S) to all the others gravitating in the centre-left and pro-independence areas. The works are coordinated by Paolo Maninchedda who started this process with the Progressives exactly one year ago, in the same room of the Selected Sali building.

"Today the coalition is born," said the former regional councilor. "Compared to a year ago, the table has widened, and this is positive - explained Dem secretary Piero Comandini - diversity is an added value". Eugenio Lai (Rossoverdi) announced that "while the current government is looking for seats, we will look for solutions in an equally spasmodic way". Massimo Zedda (Progressives) argued that "another five years like the ones that have just passed risk jeopardizing the development of the next thirty years". However, the president of the Progressives made a recommendation: "At the end of the meeting we define a path with precise deadlines so as not to give the outside the feeling of not being prepared".
