Region: tension in the majority? Todde: «None, just normal dialectics»
The president, at the end of the Council meeting, confirmed: «The Council will be operational in a short time». Among the most urgent issues is that of waiting lists
There is no tension in the majority in the Regional Council regarding the assignment of commission presidencies and other positions in the bureau. This was confirmed by Alessandra Todde at the end of the Council which appointed Luisanna Marras as commissioner for the Municipality of Cagliari until the elections.
«No tension, it's normal dialectics – the President of the Region replies to reporters outside Villa Devoto -. In the end, as always, we will arrive at a synthesis. Indeed, I spoke with President Comandini yesterday - he adds -, precisely because it is important that the Council takes office as quickly as possible. We have many documents to discuss, many processes to start, so it is important that they are fully functional."
And, again, no battle would be underway between the Pd and M5s, in particular on the tasks to be shared: at stake are the presidencies of the Budget and Productive Activities commissions, with the vice presidency of the Council.
In next Tuesday's session the Chamber will elect the bureau, the commissions will be convened in the first week of May. The president's speech to the Chamber is also awaited, with the programmatic declarations, «they will be in the next session», she announces.
One of the crucial issues addressed today was that of healthcare: «There is a very important previous situation and it will be necessary to carry out structural interventions, both by increasing resources, but above all by working on the reorganization of healthcare workers in the territories – explained Todde -. The wait for specialist visits is the most important emergency that we must take care of." «We have already taken a first step in analyzing the resources to understand if we can provide ourselves with additional funds to put on the waiting lists and we hope to have the first documents already in the next few weeks». Then among the contingent there was a problem in the booking systems at the Cup: «We verified that it was a problem with the information systems and in the management of reservations, we are in contact with the technicians so that it can be resolved as quickly as possible».
