Red Valley launches its first contest: the winners will perform in August at the Olbia Arena

The Red Valley opens the registrations of the first music competition of the festival dedicated to emerging singers, bands and rappers from all over Italy.

After the first announcements of the great artists protagonists of the 7th edition of the music festival, which will be held in Olbia from 12 to 15 August, the organizers are launching the Red Music Contest 2023 - Live Edition, which will offer two selected winners the opportunity to perform on the big stage of the Olbia Arena as opening artists during one of the four evenings of the festival.

The initiative, organized by Magma Events, is aimed at all artists and performers of age under 35 in the artistic categories of singers (performers or authors), bands and rappers who intend to present their musical projects and show their potential to aspire to a slot opening on one of the most recognized stages in Italy. «Our goal has always been to promote and reward the talent of emerging artists, stimulating their creative research and offering them an excellent opportunity for launch and positioning», say the organizers, who are keen to underline how the contest is «to be understood completely free of charge for the participating artists».

Registration form at the link https://bit.ly/Iscrizioni-RedMusicContest, deadline 21 April at 11.59 pm: after closing, the 16 most interesting musical projects will be selected, which will have the opportunity to access the final phase of the contest, with live performance during one of the evenings scheduled for Friday 14 April and Friday 5 May 2023 at The Wall pub in Olbia.

The jury, made up of a member of the organization, an artistic and orchestra director and three journalists, will include special guests Tore Fazzi, musician and leader of the historic band Collage, and the singer Maria Giovanna Cherchi, who will help evaluate the competitors based on the technical quality of the performances, musical selection, relevance of musical genre with the Red Valley target, originality and distinctive features.

During the evenings at The Wall, two participants from the audience will also be drawn at random, who will be entitled to a free ticket to attend one of the Red Valley 2023 dates.
