After Lucio Corsi, the Rocce Rosse Blues festival, one of the highlights of the summer music in Sardinia, welcomes a new protagonist of its thirty-fifth edition, scheduled from July 19 to August 9 in Lanusei, but with stops also in other towns of Ogliastra: it is Vinicio Capossela, expected in concert on August 3 in the entertainment area at the former Salesian Institute with the project "Sirens. Recalls, Emergencies and emergences".
A path of reflection that the multifaceted artist born in 1965, among the most appreciated and original of the Italian singer-songwriter scene, presents as follows: "Whether mythological beings or concrete hearing aids, sirens are always a call, an emergency signal. Real and fabulous, they carry in their bodies their dual and ambiguous nature, mutant and elusive, at times creatures of the abyss and of light, of silence and song, of the dark Dionysian and of Apollonian beauty. For those who know how to listen to them, in these inauspicious times the warnings of danger have multiplied. Between wars, rearmaments, oppression and social injustice, the West seems almost to have lost its way and to be on the verge of sinking with a sudden acceleration of its destiny of fall, of sunset below the horizon line. Sirene intends to listen to these calls, decipher them, look them straight in the eye and thus travel a journey through the depths of current emergencies, necessary to be able to surface to the light to find breath and light again».
Tickets for the concert on August 3rd in Lanusei can be purchased on the BoxOffice Sardegna circuit. Also on BoxOffice are the pre-sale tickets for the Lucio Corsi concert scheduled for July 19th, also in Lanusei.
