Red but clearly improving: Cagliari football budget approved

Cagliari's balance sheet as of 30 June 2023 ends in the red but with improving accounts, approved today by the shareholders' meeting. A new member of the board of directors was also announced.
There was an overall loss of 2,284,760 euros. A decrease in red compared to previous years: the last closing of 2022 had reported a negative of over 16 million. Furthermore, the accounting document does not take into consideration any income (from sponsorships and sales) or expenditure (purchases) accounted for from July onwards.
At the same meeting the Board of Directors was renewed. Which is now composed as follows:
- Tommaso Giulini, President
- Fedele Usai, Vice President
- Carlo Catte, Managing Director
- Giangiacomo Ibba, Councilor
- Pasquale Lavanga, Councilor
- Alessandro Manunta, Councilor
- Stefano Signorelli, Director
Giangiacomo Ibba also joins the board: 47 years old, born in Oristano, degree in business economics from the University of Parma, he is president of Abbi Group, a consolidated Sardinian company operating in the field of large-scale retail trade at a national level.
The honorary presidency for Gigi Riva was also confirmed.
