The Arborea Associate Assignees Cooperative approves the 2023 budget with numbers to toast: 232 million euros, +7% compared to 2022 . The 3A, made up of 155 agricultural companies, leader of the Sardinian dairy market and third national player in UHT milk, recorded a value never achieved in over 65 years, with a production of 181 million liters of bovine milk.

«The numbers achieved confirm the return from the losses of 2021 and allow us to look to the future with confidence», highlights Remigio Sequi, president and CEO, in a press release. «We are looking at this horizon after the actions undertaken on the reorganization front and for the remuneration of the member which we intend to preserve in line with the national average - in 2023 it was on average 0.60 euros/litre including VAT, despite the downward trend general - committing ourselves, indeed, to keeping it constant in any market condition ".

«The commitment made to deal with the difficulties of the market and convey confidence to the sector with the intervention on remuneration was intense, marking a turning point in 2023», is the comment of Maria Cristina Manca, operations director of Arborea . «For the future we intend to continue to innovate the sector according to the guiding principle of sustainability, increasing distribution on the markets also thanks to the fruits of the national communication campaign "The gentle revolution of milk" , which to date has led to a growth of 3 percentage points of awareness of the Arborea brand. The result achieved represents an important driving force to restart with enthusiasm the projects for the future which remain ambitious, such as our mission to pursue growth in value".
