Almost 140 thousand euros in turnover for around 25 thousand visitors from April to September for the Ecomuseum of the Porto Conte Park which closes the 2022 season with record numbers.
The single ticket, the use of the digital platform and the dedicated App have boosted the number of admissions to the various environmental, historical and cultural attractions of the protected area.
No longer, therefore, a ticket for each single site that can be visited in the Park, as in the past, but a unique offer with a single ticket (8 euro value) of the Ecomuseum of the Porto Conte Park. The following are an integral part of the Ecomuseum: Casa Gioiosa, prestigious seat of the Park and former penal colony (3403 visitors between April and September); the MASE, the museum dedicated to the writer-aviator Antoine De Saint Exupèry housed in the suggestive Torre Nuova (1945 visitors); the MAPS, an environmental and historical open-air museum set in the promontory of Punta Giglio (8141 visitors); the wildlife oasis "Le Prigionette" from which naturalistic and historical itineraries depart to be covered on foot, by bike, with mini cars and electric bikes and the Roman Villa of Sant'Imbenia (7870 visitors). To these numbers must also be added the visitors residing in Alghero who totaled 3,684, of which 2,453 for MAPS and 1,231 for Prigionette.
Overall, therefore, the total number of actual visitors to the Ecomuseum in the period April - September 2022 amounted to 25,043 units (21,359 non-residents + 3,684 residents). Thanks to these visitors, in the period April - September 2022, the turnover of the Ecomuseum from ticketing amounted to 137,924 euros (in 2019 it was 98,208 euros), with an increase in absolute value of 39,716 euros and in percentage value equal to +40 ,44%.
