Record-breaking edition number 39 for the Ittiri Folk Festa. This is attested by the number of spectators and the number of events at an event which, since its inception, has promoted meetings and exchanges between traditions and cultures.

After the award ceremony by Bachisio Bandinu, anthropologist and journalist, the event unfolded its attractions including the inauguration of the "Iter" mural donated by the artist Mauro Patta to the Ittiri Cannedu association, organizer of the festival, which this year turns half century of activity. As always, it was the performances that characterized the scenery of the town of Coros, for example with music, protagonist with the special edition of Rock and Wine and Sonos de Ballu where the evergreen Tazenda were on stage, playing.

Crowd then for the Grand Parade procession where 400 people including dancers, musicians, in traditional clothing or masks and, in particular, six foreign groups and 9 Sardinians plus 50 couples representing 50 different towns in Sardinia paraded through the streets of Ichthyra . Also of notable attraction, in the Missingiagu park, is the final dance "The whole story together" with the involvement of island artists, foreigners and tourists. Tomorrow at 9pm, in the Catalan city, the final act of the Ittiri Folk Festa for "Alghero Folk International" in Lo Quarter confirming the vocation of a festival, made up of meetings between cultures and friendships, with groups from Serbia, Benin, Venezuela and of Ploaghe.
