Ravenna, led by former teammate Manuel Fishnaller, will arrive at the "Vanni Sanna" stadium on Saturday, but will be without the support of their fans. The Romagna-based club has issued an official statement: "Ravenna FC informs its supporters that, following the order issued by the Prefect of the Province of Sassari, ticket sales to residents of the province of Ravenna for the Torres vs. Ravenna FC match have been suspended."
The decision was taken by the competent authorities for reasons of public order and safety and follows similar measures already taken for the away match in Ascoli following the incidents in Arezzo.
Ravenna FC, while declaring its full respect for the authorities' decisions, does not hide its disappointment: "The club, while fully respecting the competent authorities, cannot fail to express its profound disappointment at having to once again face a crucial match without the support of its fans, a fundamental and indispensable component of any sporting competition."
