Fourteen nations represented and 97 crews. These are record numbers for the Rally Terra Sarda , an event organized from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 October by Porto Cervo Racing.

The 10th edition is the final appointment of the European Rally Tour and the Zone 9 Rally Cup . And it coincides with the hundred years of autonomy of the municipality of Arzachena and the 60 years since the birth of the Costa Smeralda Consortium.

97 cars at the start . Several big names in the race, starting with the three-time winner Vittorio Musselli, with the livery of his Hyundai I20 WRC which is a tribute to Sardinia. There will also be Hayden Paddon, fresh from participation in the New Zealand Rally, the Swiss Ivan Ballinari, the Spaniard Nil Solans, the Pavese Giacomo Scattolon and the reigning champion Maurizio Diomedi, five wins. Among the protagonists also Antonio Rusce, Rachele Somaschini, Auro Siddi, Roberto Cocco, Sandro Locci, the Pierre Paul Baltolu course.

There are 73 kilometers of competition in a setting of rare beauty , where the contrast between the colors of the sea and the surrounding nature stands out.

Nine cars will compete in the second Rally Terra Sarda Storico : Alessandro Ghezzi's Porsche Carrera RS will be the first to face the special stages in a confrontation that will also see Giovanni Pischedda's Opel Ascona at the start.

In Porto Cervo the spotlights are turned on Thursday 6 October with the delivery of the "road books" and the reconnaissance of the route. Friday the presentation ceremony in which the nations involved will be able to promote their excellence.

Six special stages: in addition to the TER Series and the Zone Rally Cup, the Terra Sarda Rally will also be part of the Sardinian Delegation Rally Championship, the Sardinian Delegation Historic Rally Championship, the Sardegna Rally Cup and the R Italian Trophy national series, Pirelli Accademia and Michelin Zone Rally Cup.

The races will start on Saturday and will close on Sunday with the awards ceremony scheduled from 3.30 pm at the Molo Vecchio in Porto Cervo.
