Rally Italia Sardegna, Ogier triumphs in Olbia

Sebastien Ogier and Vincent Landais on Toyota Yaris Gr Rally1, won the 22nd Rally Italia Sardegna, sixth round of the Wrc World Championship that took place based in Olbia from Thursday 5 June to today. The transalpine driver signed his fifth victory in the world rally organized by Aci with the support of the Sardinia Region and thus joined his compatriot Seb Loeb at the top of the Ris roll of honor.
Ogier finished in 3h34'24"5 with an advantage of 7"8 on the Hyundai i20 Rally1 of the Estonian Tanak-Jarveoja and of 50"5 on Rovanperä-Halttunen, on Toyota Gr Yaris Rally1 like Evans-Martin (at 5'05"7) and Katsuta-Johnston (at 7'29"6). Rovanperä won the power stage.
Very important success in the Wrc2 for the Aci Team Italia national team crew formed by Roberto Daprà and Luca Guglielmetti, ninth overall on Skoda Fabia Rs Rally at 12'15”2. A world championship success that Italy had been missing for over five years and which allows us to see an Italian on the top step of the Wrc2 in Sardinia for the first time.
Italy also celebrated its victory in WRC3 with Matteo Fontana and Alessandro Arnaboldi, twenty-first overall in their Ford Fiesta Rally3.
First among the Sardinians, and twenty-second overall , were Giuseppe Dettori and Carlo Pisano, who finished in 29'55” on their Skoda Fabia Evo and were the only Sardinians to take to the platform after the withdrawal of Ledda, Tali, Biolghini, Biancu, Mara, Marrone and Corda.
