Announcing his presence at the open days, scheduled for early July, was already a clue, but now it's official: Daniele Ragatzu will wear the Olbia jersey again in the next Serie D season. And specifically the number 10 jersey, which last year belonged to Lorenzo De Grazia. But only because the former Cagliari player had moved to Pontedera.

With a note issued today at lunchtime, the club announced the renewal of Ragatzu's contract, expiring at the end of the month. "Among the big news for next season, a big confirmation concerns the first team roster: Daniele Ragatzu, a striker born in 1991, after the verbal agreement, has officially signed with Olbia Calcio 1905, confirming his presence for the 2025-2026 football season", it reads.

"Returned last January to his football home, Bruno Nespoli, after spending part of the season in Pontedera, Daniele Ragatzu will continue to wear the white jersey of the lighthouse guardians - this year with the number 10 -, worn for the first time in the 2016/2017 season. From there, excluding the Cagliari period of 2019-2020", continues the Olbia press release, "he spent 8 seasons with the colors of Olbia Calcio 1905, for a total of over 260 appearances, 100 goals and the title of top scorer of Group B of Serie C in 2022/2023".

The official note ends like this: «What is important that he brings to the team, in addition to his now well-known, appreciated and celebrated footballing qualities, is his charisma: Ragatzu is the soul of the team, both in the locker room and in the city, a personal quality that instills energy and motivation even in the most difficult moments».
