This is how Beniamino Zuncheddu, the former pastor of Burcei exonerated and freed after 33 years in prison, describes his meeting with Pope Francis, who died yesterday at the age of 88. Zuncheddu was part of the delegation of prisoners from Buoncammino prison that the pontiff received during his pastoral visit to Cagliari. And he was also one of the last Sardinians to meet him before his death.
