A toponymic and historical study of the ancient places and territories of the Seneghe region. After several months of research, data collection, and recordings, the results are here, with unexpected discoveries that will be presented at the Casa Aragonese on Friday, February 27th at 6:30 PM.

The "Places of the Seneghe Territory" project was conceived and passionately promoted by the Tocoele Association, coordinated by its president, Tore Vacca. The association actively involved the Seneghe community by establishing a research group composed of experts with in-depth knowledge of the area. This work, combined with careful archival consultation, has shed light on local toponymy and brought to light numerous historical events related to the Seneghe area. The results of the study group's collective work on historical cartography and archival documentation will be presented on Friday, with a detailed discussion of the working method adopted.

A documentary screening retracing the most significant phases of the research will illustrate the findings. The meeting is a public opportunity to share the work undertaken and precedes the release of a publication that will comprehensively collect the study's findings. "The goal is to share the results achieved with the public and further engage the community in the final phase of the project, which will culminate with the publication of a volume dedicated to the histories of names and places in the Seneghe area," explains Tore Vacca.
