The Sardinia Film Festival , the international event dedicated to animated cinema, is a French edition, organized as usual by the Cineclub Sassari under the artistic direction of Carlo Dessì. " The Night Boots" by director Pierre-Luc Granjon won the "Grand Prize Sardiniafilmfestival 20th Edition."

The work of the French author is the delicate tale of the birth of a friendship, told through the refined technique of the pin screen, an invention almost a century old, extremely fragile and complex to use .

The technical commission has awarded the Critics' Prize to “Signal” by Emma Carrè and Mathilde Parquet; the Best Film School Short Film Award to “L'Avegle,” directed by Remy Xu of ECV Paris; a Special Mention for Film Schools to “La Bande a Bonnot,” by students of the Ecole Georges Melies; the Green Prize to “What Now?”, directed by students of the Ecole Mo Pa; and the Visioni Prize to the Italian film “Dagon” by Paolo Gaudio.
