"The End of the End", appointment at the Astra in Sassari

Three dates for "La fine della fine" , the new title in the program of the " Ethnia e Teatralità Festival" organized by the Compagnia Teatro Sassari . The Sassari company proposes it at the Teatro Astra in Sassari on Friday and Saturday at 9 pm and Sunday at 7 pm.

“The End of the End” a new production   directed by Mario Lubino based on texts by Stefano Dionisi who is also one of the protagonists on stage together with Claudio Dionisi .

The show tells the story of   two men, Vindice and Vongola, who after a catastrophic event find themselves the only survivors. Around them there is nothing and no one anymore. Surrounded by loneliness, the two share an existential desert filled exclusively by their voices and their movements. Vindice and Vongola will try to locate any survivors, clinging to the illusory hope given by Banny, a street lamp, that someone still exists, besides them. The two protagonists, who reprise the roles of the white clown and the august, are full of desperation, but also of hope and try in every way, with absurd and surreal actions remaining in a tragicomic climate, to give meaning to their existences. Condemned to remain in a still, immobile and apathetic existence, where nothing happens anymore, the two try to fight against the now inevitable end by seeking meaning in the encounter with the other.
