"Taste of Sardinia" captivates London with the flavors of Sardinia. The stars of the exclusive culinary experience, held at Harry's Bar, were Hotel Cala di Volpe's Executive Chefs, Maurizio Locatelli and Michele Bacciu, who created a menu inspired by the island's authentic flavors.

From March 24th to 26th, the famous private members club and symbol of London elegance hosted a new edition of “Taste of Sardinia,” the international project created to bring Sardinian gastronomic excellence to the world. The menu offered dishes that offered a refined journey through tradition, from tuna veils marinated in soy and ginger sauce, lightly seared with extra virgin olive oil and topped with toasted sesame seeds, to red mullet fillets crusted with Mediterranean aromatic herbs, accompanied by marinara sauce; culurgiones stuffed with ricotta and pecorino, served with roasted tomato sauce and fresh basil; and saffron-toasted fregula enriched with scorpionfish ragù and Cabras mullet bottarga; to the sea bass darna, accompanied by green asparagus and lemon and sage sauce, complemented by Roman-style artichoke and rosemary potatoes; and for dessert, a citrus savarin, glazed with apricot jam, served with vanilla Chantilly and red berries, and finished with the sweet and intense contrast of black cherry syrup.

Initially conceived to attract new customers and satisfy the requests of guests who wanted to relive the culinary experiences of the Hotel Cala di Volpe upon their return home, "Taste of Sardinia" has taken the kitchen brigade of the iconic Costa Smeralda hotel from one end of the world to the other. This educational journey, marked by exclusivity and culinary excellence, has fueled an increase in requests to experience the refined and exclusive "made-by-Cala di Volpe" cuisine abroad, with its ingredients associated with longevity.

The “Taste of Sardinia” embraces new international adventures every year, so much so that since 2010, the ambassadors of gastronomic excellence of the Hotel Cala di Volpe have created tailor-made experiences in London, New York, Miami, Palm Beach, the Bahamas, Courchevel, Nice, Doha, Abu Dhabi, Cairo, Riyadh, Moscow, Baku and Almaty.
