"Strengthening companies through training: this is the only way to grow."

Anyone running a business must navigate a labyrinth of ever-changing laws and regulations , sometimes incomprehensible bureaucracy, and technological progress that must be properly understood and assimilated to be exploited. The only way to stay aboard the train of development and growth is high-quality training : "Entrepreneurs are often caught up in daily commitments and sleepless nights searching for solutions to the problems that arise every day. Training allows them to find the tools to manage complexity and keep up with the times," explained Sergio Zuncheddu, editor of L'Unione Sarda , during the presentation of Programma US , the project created to support entrepreneurs, managers, and professionals and make business management easier.
A new workshop was held yesterday—at the L'Unione Sarda headquarters in Cagliari, where courses will be held in the coming months—with professors from the Polytechnic University of Milan and the University of Cagliari, partners of the publishing group along with SDA Bocconi . The first series of lessons will begin in October. They will discuss innovation, artificial intelligence, valorization of cultural heritage and craftsmanship, and tourism. They will also cover employee organization and management, balance sheet analysis, strategic planning, and many other key topics in the corporate world. They begin with a (worrying) certainty: "The life cycle of businesses, between technological innovation, globalization, and changing consumer demands, is increasingly shorter. For example, in the technology field, from the 1970s to today, it has gone from 30 to 12 years," said Gianandrea Ciaramella, professor at the Polytechnic University of Milan . Therefore, something must be done to avoid succumbing. "Training improves competitiveness, attracts talent, and maintains businesses' capacity for innovation."
The lectures included in the US Program calendar will be "well-tailored to the characteristics of the region," an island "where values, traditions, and identity are abundant," noted Lucio Lamberti, scientific director of the Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Management. The University of Cagliari is also involved, hosting ten thematic seminars, ranging from privacy to taxes, corporate law, and labor law. "These topics were suggested by you," said the university's vice-rector, Elisabetta Gola , speaking alongside professors Massimo Farina and Patrizio Monfardini , addressing an audience of entrepreneurs and managers, "which we will discuss with our most experienced professors to ensure quality training."
The US program will also help companies with communications. This is an area in which the L'Unione Sarda group is a leader "thanks to 1.1 million daily contacts: our media reaches the homes of all Sardinians, with balance, attention, and responsibility," noted newspaper director Emanuele Dessì . Another aspect of the project concerns services tailored to business growth. Such as e-commerce, an indispensable tool: once the market stabilizes, at least a third of global purchases will be online. "Our VaiOnLine platform," explained Lia Serreli, general manager of the L'Unione Sarda group , "will give you the ability to sell your products without having to deal with certain issues like logistics, customer care, and payments." Thus simplifying the lives of many entrepreneurs.
