"Silent Violence" is the title of the conference dedicated to recognizing and combating less visible forms of abuse. The initiative, organized by the Margherita Association, also includes a fundraiser for awareness-raising projects in Cagliari's elementary schools. The event will take place Wednesday at 4:00 PM at the Fondazione di Sardegna headquarters on Via San Salvatore da Horta. The aim of the conference, the organizers emphasize, is to draw attention to the more subtle and difficult-to-identify manifestations of violence, often absent from public debate.

This event is also open to professionals in the legal, psychological, educational, and scholastic fields. It is particularly open to lawyers (with 3 training credits), social workers, educators, psychologists, school administrators, and teachers. The event will be introduced by Matteo Pinna, president of the Cagliari Bar Association. A series of multidisciplinary presentations will follow, moderated by Professor Gabriella Pisano, president of the Margherita Association.

Speakers include lawyer Claudia Rabellino Becce, psychiatrist Bernardo Carpiniello, Supreme Court lawyer Leonardo Filippi, magistrate Gilberto Ganassi, sociologist and criminologist Massimo Santarelli, and Silvana Migoni, president of the Donne al Finestre association. "Talking about silent violence," Pisano explains, "means shedding light on those situations that go unseen, but which are as harmful as, or more so than, explicit violence. A multidisciplinary approach can help us recognize and prevent it."
