"Silanus, the town of seven churches. Paths of the soul. Faith and people." This is the new literary work by Rina Manca , a scholar and retired teacher of literature at the town's middle school, who has always been involved in extensive research into local history. Published by Carlo Delfino Editore, this work is once again donated by the author to the community, which she defines as "a long journey spanning nearly a thousand years ."

In the book, the author presents the fruits of her research, intertwining religious, historical, and social events, retracing years of history, highlighting the connection between the town, its places of worship, and the community that has lived and preserved them over time. Through the churches, rites, traditions, and transformations of collective life, the work is a fascinating journey through history and identity, faith and shared memory. The churches of Santa Sabina and San Lorenzo (two ancient gems), as well as San Bartolomeo, Sant'Antonio (the parish church), Santa Croce, La Maddalena, and the church of Itria, are the buildings involved in the research, which Rina Manca has successfully brought together, reconstructing not only history, but also religious and social events. "The story of religious holidays over time," the author explains, "is interwoven with the life of the town, which pulsates through the stories of religious and civil holidays, narrating them in a way that is different from what we are usually accustomed to."

A description of those silent monuments, yet ones that have always characterized community life, which constitute the cultural heritage of the town and the entire region. This is a recognition and a great achievement donated to the community, which the municipal administration acknowledges, expressing appreciation and gratitude, and which further enriches the town's cultural heritage.
