"Reflections on the crisis in Ukraine" is the title of the conference scheduled for Friday 18 March (starting at 4 pm) in the main hall of the Rectorate of the University of Cagliari (via Università 40).

The appointment, also available in streaming on the University of Cagliari website, is part of the ongoing initiatives for # unica4ukraine, the program of the University of Cagliari which aims to cope with the emergency and to scientifically investigate issues related to the situation of international crisis.

Alongside the cultural commitment, the University's activities for the integration of Ukrainian students and researchers are continuing: dedicated Italian courses will begin in the coming weeks, and the calls for scholarships and research grants are being published.

The conference will be opened by the greetings of the Rector Francesco Mola and will be coordinated by Aide Esu, professor of Sociology in the Department of Political and Social Sciences.

This will be followed by interventions by UniCa teachers Aldo Berlinguer on "The crisis in Ukraine: an announced disaster", Massimo Tria with "The destruction of history and information in Russia", Marco Siddi on "War and energy crisis in Europe", Giorgio Giacinto on "Cyberspace security: technology, training, community" and Luigi Martino, who will talk about "Geopolitics and cyber dimension in 21st century conflicts".
