Creating spaces for art and socializing in a stretch of urban fabric that often leaves its own residents feeling excluded, and therefore needs to be reclaimed through culture. This is the idea behind " Pedaliamo Controvento ," the New Year's Eve party hosted by Ciclofficina Sella del Diavolo in collaboration with Cada Die Teatro . Tomorrow, starting at 7 p.m. , three short monologues on the themes of free choice and resistance will be performed at the venue at Via Principe Amedeo 21. After a communal dinner , the stage will be given over to electronic and experimental music by two Cagliari-based DJs, Neeva and Thom Oab .

In a triptych titled " Cuori di panna smontata ," Lara Farci will lead the way with " Alfonsina Controvento ," dedicated to cycling champion Alfonsina Morini Strada, who bravely competed in the 1924 men's Giro d'Italia. This is a story of fighting prejudice in a field that is still open to criticism today: sport. Francesca Pani will follow with " Mi lego a Gaza ," on the importance of finding the innate ability to survive and be reborn beyond the rubble, as the Gazawi people have historically demonstrated.

Maria Mou will close with " Invisibile ," a profound and deeply felt reflection on inner fragility and the resulting feeling of being invisible, overcoming both limitations through the art of theater. All three productions will be curated by Mauro Mou , who is responsible for the dramaturgy of the second and third monologues.
