Once upon a time… the magic of theatre.
The one that lights up when the lights go out in the theater, when the curtain opens and for an hour everything seems possible.

Following the success of previous editions, Teatro Doglio renews its family-friendly program with "Once Upon a Time," a new theater season designed to take adults and children on a journey of music, adventure, and beloved characters.

From October to March, Teatro Doglio will bring to the stage productions capable of transforming every event into an experience to be anticipated and enjoyed together, with timeless stories, fantastical worlds, and shows designed to thrill audiences of all ages.

Some of the most beloved characters from the imagination of children will take to the stage: Pimpa, Miguel, the Gruffalo, the magic of Hogwarts, and Maya the Bee. They will be performed by the Aida Foundation of Verona and the All Crazy company of Milan.

The season opens on Saturday, October 10th with "Pimpa. The Musical with Polka Dots," a production of the Aida Foundation of Verona.
A colorful musical comedy celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the famous dog who always seems five years old. Directed by Enzo d'Alò, with dramaturgy co-written by Francesco Tullio-Altan, the show imagines a surprising encounter between Pimpa and William Shakespeare, intertwining fantasy and classical theater in a tale that speaks to little ones with lightheartedness and intelligence.

The second event will be Saturday, November 21st with “Viva la Vida – Miguel’s Great Adventure,” a musical by Milan’s All Crazy company.
Miguel, a young music-loving protagonist, is catapulted into the world of the deceased during Day of the Dead and embarks on an emotional journey in search of his musician great-great-grandfather. Featuring live music, choreography, and surprising encounters, the show takes the audience on an intense and engaging adventure.

“The Gruffalo,” a production of the Aida Foundation of Verona, will arrive on Saturday, December 19th at 6 pm .
To mark the release of the new story "Grandma Gruffalo," the character created by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler returns to the theater with a musical comedy produced in collaboration with the Teatro Stabile del Veneto.
With a text by Pino Costalunga and Manuel Renga and direction by Manuel Renga, the show brings the book's celebrated atmosphere to the stage, featuring costumes inspired by the original illustrations, songs, dance, and comedy. In the woods, four young friends bring to life the story of the cunning little mouse who invents a terrifying creature to escape predators: the mythical Gruffalo.

The new year will continue on Saturday, February 20th with “Magic School Musical – Hogwarts Mysteries,” a production of All Crazy from Milan.
The show's protagonist is Merlin, a young wizard determined to uncover the origins of his past. A show full of mystery and adventure that will engage even the youngest audience members.
