Three months away from the bench and the playing field, as well as from any federal activity.

It is the punishment decided by the Italian Volleyball Federation against Enrico Balletto from Cagliari, former coach of the under-21 women's national team, coach of a company from Tortolì as well as exponent of Casapound also candidate for the supplementary ones from the 2019 Chamber in the Cagliari college.

The disqualification came due to a comment on Facebook on 20 December 2021, in which Balletto hypothesized that five immigrants hired by the Fipav Regional Committee to work on the final of the Beach Volleyball World Tour which was held in Cagliari, had been paid with "carob , buckets of water or a pittance ".

Pierpaolo Murgioni, organizer of the World Tour final who had published his image and the five non-EU citizens, reported the comment to the president of the Sardinian Fipav Eliseo Secci. For the record, the five foreigners, chosen with the collaboration of Caritas, were paid one hundred euros a day like all those who worked on the event.

Federal prosecutor Giorgio Garlaschelli had requested the suspension of Balletto for five months, while the defenders Linda Corrias and Davide Mollica had argued that the post was to be considered a free manifestation of the non-offensive thought of the honorability of Fipav or Murgioni. The sports justice college held that Balletto would have "mocked the Murgioni card holder and the role he performed on behalf of Fipav Sardinia, falsely accusing him of having used immigrants instead of islanders to avoid paying the workers just wages".

The Ballet defense has announced an appeal.
