When artists embrace the freedom to expand their musical horizons, exciting projects emerge. This is the case with Germi'n'jazz, the festival born from the meeting between Paolo Fresu and Manuel Agnelli , an idea promoted by Luca Zoccheddu 's Altrove Agency. Tomorrow at 9 pm, on the stage of the Germi Theatre in Milan, of which Agnelli is artistic director, the original production " Murmuration " will be presented. The performance features an exceptional trio composed of singer Maria Pia De Vito , trumpeter Fulvio Sigurtà , and pianist How Warren .
A project born from the intuition of Insulae Lab 's artistic director, Paolo Fresu, and the intersection of impactful and complementary artistic personalities. "Murmuration" resonates with the present and draws on the memory of diverse cultures. This music does not imitate nature, but embodies its mystery: shared movement, silent trust, the unpredictable beauty of flight. "Murmuration" is a term that refers to the mysterious and wondrous phenomenon in which large flocks of birds fly in a synchronized and dynamic dance, describing unpredictable shapes and trajectories in the sky. This phenomenon is scientifically defined by three fundamental characteristics: it is a collective behavior, it has no leader, and it has no predefined direction.
The choice of the Germi LdC stage was no coincidence, having been awarded the Best Live Music Venue in Italy by the MEI (Meeting of Independent Labels) in 2024 and 2025 and quickly becoming a point of reference for artistic innovation.
