"I'm so happy and proud to have won this Nastro d'Argento for La vita va così." Thus begins the post with which director Riccardo Milani announces the film's award for Best Comedy at the 2026 Nastri d'Argento Awards.

According to the jury of film journalists, "'Life Goes' is based on a true story and becomes a reflection of Italian society: light in form, profound in substance. Film journalists reward a comedy that doesn't settle for merely entertaining, but chooses to question, excite, and surprise."

Milani thanks the producers, distributors, actors, actresses, and crew, but also "all the communities involved in the production, thanks to the community of Teulada, which harshly experienced the events that inspired the film. Thanks to Ovidio Marras' family and everyone who allowed us to film in the places where it all took place. Thanks to the Sardinians and Sardinia, a people and a land from which there is so much to learn. Thanks to the person to whom this film is dedicated and from whom it all began: Gigi Riva ."
