A Liberation Day on the seashore, to the rhythm of reggae, dub and raggamuffin: on April 25th , the Corto Maltese in Cagliari 's Poetto will light up for " Liberation Reggae Fest ", which from 4pm will see Bujumannu of Train To Roots, Sista Namely , Anthony Screwface and Suwoha on stage with special guest Cicittu , accompanied by vinyl selections by Canapa Sound and the Isla Sound crew, who are organising the entire event.

Celebrating the victory of the Resistance to the tune of a historically libertarian and cosmopolitan musical culture, the afternoon of "Liberation Reggae Fest" will host the entire Isla Sound family , starting with the ambassador of the genre on the Island, Bujumannu (aka Simone Pireddu), with a long career both as a solo artist and as the lead singer of Train To Roots since 2005, as well as his female counterpart Sista Namely (real name Valentina Steri), also active as a solo artist but also as the bandleader of The Islanders .

One of the collective's key players, DJ-MC Anthony Screwface , will also be present . For over twenty years, he has been creating original lyrics and productions that span reggae and its derivatives, collaborating with some of the most celebrated performers and sound systems of the Italian school. He will be joined live by Suwoha of Funtana Beats , who will provide the rap component of the evening along with Cicittu , special guest and veteran of the Sardinian reggae scene . The musical selections will instead feature Isla Sound in full crew form , with DeVita , Micfo , ToreAmbu , and Renz behind the decks and vinyl.
