Two explorers travel back in time and encounter Australopithecines, Neanderthals, and Homo sapiens. This fascinating journey takes place on the stage of the Astra Theater in Sassari on Sunday at 6:00 PM with " Lara and Saretta in the Stone Age."

The show, recommended for spectators between 6 and 14 years old, is presented by the company La Botte e il Cilindro . The title is included in the program of the 36th edition of “Famiglie a Teatro”. Written by Luca Dettori, the show is directed by and performed by Bianca Maria Lay and Daniela Simula . Sound engineering by Aldo Milia . Music and musical adaptations by Mario Chessa, voiceovers by Stefano Cossu and Aldo Milia , costumes by Luisella Conti , set design by Michele Grandi in collaboration with Consuelo Pittalis, Margherita Lavosi and Vito Furio. Lighting design by Paolo Palitta .

Lara and Saretta, with their space-time vessel , take the viewer on an exciting journey through time during which they will encounter the Australopithecines, humanity's first bipeds, and meet the famous Lucy, who lived more than three million years ago. They will observe several specimens of Homo habilis at work, so called because they were capable of working stone and creating objects useful for survival (including, apparently, a primordial fly swatter). A visit to the lands populated by Homo herectus, also known as Pithecanthropus or Java man, and Neanderthal man, and, concluding the journey, an encounter with Homo sapiens.
