After the great success of Daniel Pennac, protagonist of an unforgettable Sardinian tour, another exceptional event arrives on the island that will attract different generations.

The charm of Enzo Jannacci 's songs, from the more ironic to the more intimate and poignant ones, marries the histrionic talent of a volcanic Stefano "Elio" Belisari, founder and frontman of the group Elio e Le Storie Tese , for a journey between notes and words in the cultural climate of the twentieth century, up to the beginning of the 2000s, with "It takes an ear / Elio sings and recites Enzo Jannacci" on the bill on Thursday 15, at 21 at the Teatro Comunale of Sassari and then Friday 16 and Saturday 17 at 20.30 at the Teatro Massimo of Cagliari.

A double appointment with the "Unique Pieces" review, signed by the artistic director Valeria Ciabattoni, under the banner of the 2022-2023 Season of La Grande Prosa organized by the CeDAC / Multidisciplinary Circuit of Live Performance in Sardinia chaired by Antonio Cabiddu.

An anthology of famous and other lesser-known songs by the Milanese singer-songwriter, who wrote fundamental pages in the history of light music (and not only) in Italy, in the interpretation of a multifaceted and imaginative artist like Elio, for an ideal long-distance meeting between the eclectic singer, lyricist and cabaret artist, pianist and actor, as well as a doctor, between the pioneers of Italian rock'n'roll and the whimsical performer capable of ranging between classical and pop, from "The Threepenny Opera" by Bertolt Brecht to "Peter and the Wolf" by Sergej Prokof'ev, from pop to the traditional tenor song of Sardinia.

"It takes ear", with dramaturgy and direction by Giorgio Gallione and musical arrangements by Paolo Silvestri, light design by Aldo Mantovani, sets by Lorenza Gioberti and costumes by Elisabetta Menziani, is an Agidi and Imarts / International Music and Arts production, with the special touch by Marco Presta, Francesco Piccolo and Michele Serra.

In the spotlight, together with Elio, a close-knit ensemble that includes Alberto Tafuri piano, Martino Malacrida drums, Pietro Martinelli bass and double bass, Sophia Tomellieri saxophone and Giulio Tullio trombone.
