“L'Inclusione in Mostra” is the project born from the collaboration between the Olbia Mare Shopping Center and the SensibilMente Odv Association. The exhibition will be exhibited in the gallery of the Olbia Mare Shopping Center, one of the shopping centers of the Gallerie Sardegna brand, which identifies the centers managed in Sardinia by the Nhood real estate development and service company. The project will be exhibited from 18 to 31 May, with the inauguration on Thursday 18 May at 11:00, with the participation of the Deputy Mayor Sabrina Serra and the Councilor for Social Policies Simonetta Raimonda Lai, together with the President of the Veronica Asara Association, and also enjoys the patronage of the Municipality of Olbia.

With initiatives like this, Nhood in Sardinia aims to enhance the potential of its relationship with the territories in which it operates and the services provided, including a rich commercial offer. Nhood embraces and adopts the 3P strategy, which maximizes the Planet, People and Prosperity in three distinct directions, guaranteeing sustainable and responsible development. The mission is to be citizens of the world, engaging skills and good practices to improve people's lives and make places healthier, more functional and therefore happier.

The centrality of the person is further confirmed by the desire to make the center accessible to all, with particular attention to visitors on the autistic spectrum and with cognitive disabilities. In fact, the Olbia Mare Shopping Center is the first in Sardinia to have created facilitated routes to facilitate access for people with autism spectrum disorders.

From this need for an all-round welcome comes the adhesion to the Kairos project and the exhibition "Towards the ten years of SensibilMente", hosted inside the Gallery from 18 to 31 May.
Kairos, created by the Maia Psychopedagogical Center, the result of the will of the SensibilMente Odv Association and of the work in synergy with the Olbia Mare Shopping Center, intends to promote the inclusion in the social context and the development of personal autonomy of people with autism and cognitive disabilities, improving the accessibility and usability of public spaces and areas.
The project is divided into two phases, one awareness-raising training and the other linked to the creation of facilitated posters. The training intends to convey to the owners and employees of the commercial activities the knowledge of specific communication and relational methods, thanks to the training meeting organized by the pedagogists of the Maia Psychopedagogical Center. On the other hand, facilitated signage provides for the creation of supports (paper and digital maps) which, with the help of the CAA pictograms (augmentative and alternative communication), facilitate movement within public and commercial spaces.

The exhibition, which will be inaugurated on May 18, traces the stages, results and initiatives of SensibilMente Odv, an association founded in 2014, with the aim of supporting autistic families and children, thinking about the future.

The program is structured as follows:

- Thursday 18 May at 11:00: inauguration of the exhibition "Towards 10 years of SensibilMente" and of the Kairos al Centro project;
- Friday 19 May at 16:00 in the events area on the 1st floor: training meeting with the pedagogues of the Maia Psychopedagogical Center;

- Thursday 25 May at 17:00 in the events area on the 1st floor: second training meeting in collaboration with the ITI development project of the Municipality of Olbia.

The exhibition can be visited from the opening day 18 May until 31 May.

“An important project towards an increasingly concrete inclusion, we are proud that Olbia is leading the way in this context as well, we are sure that these actions are increasingly being implemented in the city, thanks also to the continuous collaboration with the sensibilMente association and to the many people involved. Thanks to the Olbiamare shopping center for having concretely followed up on this initiative, thus giving everyone the opportunity to experience the center” says Deputy Mayor Sabrina Serra.

“The path undertaken for years by the sensibilMente Association is continuing with a journey towards awareness, inclusion and knowledge, which are the best tools to face together the fears and mistrust that autistic people face every day. Knowledge and information through these projects help everyone move forward” affirms the Councilor for Social Policies Simonetta Raimonda Lai.

"We thank the Olbia Mare Shopping Center for having strongly supported the realization of this project and we are happy to have concretely participated in making the center an accessible and facilitated area for people with autism and cognitive disabilities" says the President of the SensibilMente odv Association Verónica Asara.

“One more reason to go to the Olbia Mare Shopping Centre, which has always been attentive to the social welfare of the individual and of the entire community; the will is to transfer the Kairos project to the other Malls managed by Nhood in Sardinia as well, so as to create a territorial circuit and a strong link with the Associations” says Nadia Mombelli, Shopping Center Manager of the Nhood shopping centers in Sardinia.
