After "a long journey, one of the most intense of my life," Luneddu is back. Luna Melis, the singer and rapper from Uta who blossomed at just sixteen on X Factor, is reborn today with "Silenzio artificiali" : an intimate song that speaks of expectations, inadequacies, lies, and dark paths. Produced by FIFexclamation and Giorgio Guiducci, written by Luna, Mezzi Termini, and Frero, and distributed by Altafonte, it is the fruit of "a period of revolution," she explains, a year after her last single, "Rip."

Where did “Artificial Silence” come from?

«For several months of silence, in fact, a precious time to rediscover things about myself that I thought were lost, even on an artistic level».
It deals with important themes, fragility and pain: was it difficult to write it?

"Yes, because it touches me deeply. It talks about the anxiety of not finding a path in life, the thousand doubts, the paranoia that plagues each of us, not just teenagers but adults too. It's when we think everything is going well and then suddenly we stop and ask ourselves: 'Could it be an illusion? Am I really doing something good?'"

How did you get out of it?

"Today I feel alive and authentic: I'm on the verge of finding a direction that represents me 100%. The public may not realize it for a while, but I'm sure I'll have a chance to prove it later."

On social media he said that this song was rejected at Sanremo Giovani.

"It was quite a blow, but, as we know, those are difficult situations. After two or three days of mourning, I recovered greatly."

Seven years ago, you made your X Factor debut. What happened between then and now?

A rollercoaster: fall, rise, fall, rise. They were complicated years; I lost people professionally, I found others. Then, at eighteen, just as I was about to reap the rewards of my labor, Covid arrived and was devastating. I think it almost completely affected my decline. But I can't complain: after the pandemic, I wrote beautiful songs, and not even two months ago I sang the theme song for a fantasy series, Unicorn Academy.

Upcoming projects?

"New music will be released soon, as early as February/March 2026, and there's a feature planned, but I can't tell you who yet. The intention is to release lots of singles; I'm open to new experiences."

Have you seen X Factor this year?

"Sure, I always watch it. And then I couldn't help but root for EroCaddeo: I would have liked him to win, but it's better for him, maybe it's a bit of a curse."

What advice would you give to someone who has just finished a talent show?

"When the lights go out, the bubble is huge, then it slowly diminishes. It's a perfectly normal dynamic, even if I didn't realize it at the time. So my advice is: don't let it scare you. The important thing is to be able to find your own personality."

Maybe sixteen was too young?

"I'm not someone who dwells on these things. If I am who I am, it's because of everything I've done so far: I have no regrets, I'm happy as I am."
