"Horizons. Tales and visions of the island", the exhibition in Oristano

Tomorrow, at 5:30 pm, at the Museo Diocesano Arborense in Oristano , the inauguration of the exhibition “Orizzonti. Racconti e visioni dall'isola” will take place , curated by Marta Cincotti and Simone Mereu, organized by the Auravisiva association, with the contribution of the Fondazione di Sardegna and the patronage of the Municipality of Cagliari.
The exhibition will be open from January 19th to March 30th and is divided into a path between photography, contemporary art and video that follow and alternate in a metaphorical and sentimental narration that, through the different interpretations of the artists, restores the complexity of the relationship of the Sardinians with the horizon and therefore with that territory, be it marine or inland, binding and attractive.
In the photography section there will be artists Francesca Ardau, Marianna Bernardini, Sandro Cabras, Andrea Cocco, Ettore Cavalli, Elisabeth Euvrard, Enrico Marras, Roberta Montali, Barbara Pau, Antonio Pintus, Monica Porcu, Alessandra Scoppetta, Alessandro Toscano. In the contemporary art section Enrica Badas, Elisabetta Cabras Mannu, Mariano Chelo, Tiziana Contu, Giorgio Corso, Stefano Masili, Maria Grazia Medda, Roberto Meloni, Andrea Milia, Roberta Napoli, Daniela Nobile, Mercedes Pitzalis, Tiziana Sanna, Nicoletta Zonchello, Sara Vignoli.
The video works on display will be “Dalla parte del mare” (duration 73'), a documentary by director Massimo Gasole, in collaboration with architect Marco Cadinu, and “Orizzonti” (duration 8'), a video produced by the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of Cagliari.
The exhibition , after the inauguration scheduled for tomorrow, will open on Wednesdays, from 10 to 13, and from Thursday to Sunday, from 10 to 13 and from 17 to 20. Admission will be free for the inauguration, while on the following days, the ticket will follow the museum's rates.
