In fact, an EU directive imposes "green" homes: by 2030 it will be mandatory to have buildings in energy class E, which will become D in 2033. It will therefore be necessary to carry out adaptation and renovation works.

However, doubts arise from many quarters. Federproprietà Sardegna warns: «Everyone agrees on the energy transition, but on the island the buildings are too old and seven years too few for adjustments».
