An artistic vision in which humanity and nature merge into a single entity, between pareidolia and surrealism: Thursday at 6 pm will see a new inauguration at the Galleria Siotto in Cagliari , with the opening of Veronica Pala 's solo exhibition " Florescenze ", the artist's first in her hometown and curated by Alice Deledda . The exhibition will be open from Thursday to Sunday until June 28 , from 6 pm to 8 pm at Via dei Genovesi 114 .
Using numerous techniques learned and practiced over the years, with "Florescenze" Pala will present to the public the results of his physiognomic research to lead them into a universe of green and white glazes, dark ceramics and alien and pareidolic profiles in which human and botanical elements intersect thoroughly , presenting new forms of life of unknown origin.
After graduating from Foiso Fois in the capital, the artist, born in 1995, continued her training at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. During those years, she experimented with mediums such as chalcography, oil pastels on paper, and painting on canvas, gradually developing a personal approach. During her stay in Portugal, she first encountered ceramic art, later consolidating a style based on the unconscious and the dream world , also expressed in the form of self-portraiture. Since 2024, she has been part of the founding collective of the Neula atelier, in the historic center of Cagliari.
The exhibition is organised in collaboration with Corte delle Dolomiti and Mi.No.Ter , with the contribution of the General Directorate of Libraries and Cultural Institutes of the Ministry of Culture , as well as the Region , the Municipality and the Fondazione Sardegna .
