"Film in Bessude": Two evenings of screenings featuring Sardinian authors

"Film in Bessude" is a new film festival dedicated to young directors and emerging voices in the island's cinema. The initiative, conceived in collaboration with Manuel Mainetti , municipal councilor for historical and archaeological heritage, and realized with the support of the Municipality of Bessude, presents a selection of short films, documentaries, and premieres by directors who are shaping the present and future of the island's cinema.
The event will take place on October 24th and 25th at 8:00 PM (free admission) in the council chamber on Via Roma.
Manuel Soro , author and artistic director of the festival, will present a selection of his short films, which have won several awards in international contexts, and his most recent work:
“Memories of Manuel” (2023), documentary presented as a world premiere in Tijuana, Mexico.
The other protagonists: Apocaloso , a director and animator with an unmistakable style; Enrico Salvatore Porcheddu; Gianluca Medas with his feature film on Emilio Lussu. Also present are the works of two students from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sassari: Matteo Alba and Alessandro Fenu .
