The video traces Berlinguer's trip to Sardinia in January 1984 and faithfully reconstructs the journey of the communist leader in the main socio-economic centers of interest on the island. The stages from Cagliari to Sulcis, from Oristano to Ottana, from Dorgali to Porto Torres and Olbia are also told through the testimonies of those who participated in those meetings, with other archive material.
The Scientific Committee of the Enrico Berlinguer Foundation gave an essential contribution to the conception and concrete organization of the programme. The program is supported by the Sardinia Foundation, the Unipolis Foundation, the CGIL and the Lega delle Cooperative.
