"Open the microphone for me, you assholes!"

Images of the insult addressed by Angelo Sotgiu of “Ricchi e Poveri” - exactly at the stroke of midnight - to the technicians of the New Year's Eve show broadcast live on Raiuno during New Year's Eve have gone viral.

The curse resounded on the stage set up in Reggio Calabria, during the countdown of the host Marco Liorni. And, after the incident, Liorni himself apologized for the words defined as "inappropriate".
