A bilingual title: " Cagliari that reads / Casteddu chi ligit ". It is the format promoted by the Municipal Department of Culture of the Sardinian capital led by Maria Dolores Picciau .
Two appointments a week are scheduled, until 31 December, hosted at Mem, in the Pirri libraries in via Montevecchio and via Venezia and in the Polo in via Falzarego. The Bibliobus is also involved.
"We have published the notice for expressions of interest aimed mainly at local publishers, a fundamental safeguard for the production and dissemination of knowledge - explained Picciau - We hope that they will be involved in the construction of a busy calendar of presentations of literary works, studies and research. , musical and multimedia products that tell the city and its ferments ".
THE APPOINTMENTS - The events will take place outdoors. The first is scheduled for 6 July , at 6 pm at the Mem : Emanuele Cioglia will propose his new novel " Farfalle " (Condaghes). The initiative is part of the "Pact for reading" linked to the city of Cagliari.
"Books and reading - added Picciau - are essential ingredients for the development of thought, individual and collective awareness. Therefore a recognized and shared value, capable of positively influencing the quality of life of every citizen".
The dates until August have already been set at the moment. On 7 July, "Sogni e pastelli" by Maria Teresa Fadda will be presented, in via Montevecchio, where on 14 it is the turn of "Aria" by Isabella Floris , on 21 "Garibaldi and the sword of the Thousand" by Pietro Picciau and on 28 " Luisu "by Pietro Basoccu .
At the Mem, on the 13th space for "Churches of Kerala" by Cristian Castelnuovo , on the 20 "Il ricettario delle janas" by Claudia Zedda , on the 27th "L'oste di Lawrence" by Umberto Oppus . It continues on August 3 with Antonello Angioni 's "The Conspiracy of Camarassa". Bibliobus will host Giovanni Fiabane and Marcello Murru 's "RS33 Protocol" on the 9th and Francesco Accardo 's "Tramonti by bike" on the 30th.
